First and foremost, we created Subculture Laboratories because we love rare plants and believe tissue culture is the gateway to expanding the accessibility to and persistence of many amazing cultivars that have been found by growers over the years.
Located in Southern Illinois, we specialize in cutting-edge plant tissue culture techniques that allow for the precise propagation and preservation of delicate, endangered, and rare cultivars. Our methods and protocols are derived from decades of tedious research and countless hours in our own lab.
We are not afraid to innovate when new opportunities are on the horizon, but recognize that we would not be able to see them without the shoulders of past horticultural titans to stand on.
